October 2010

I haven't updated in a very long time. I really wanted to use this blog as a way for Bella to look back at some of the memories she won't be able to remember. We've had a very busy year. Bella is walking, and chattering like crazy (though not always in English). She has been a joy and a gift to get to know. The older she gets the more I realize how lucky I am to have such a beautiful, and smart little girl. We are excited to see how her second year goes, and see all the wonderful developments in store.

I am in school full time, and working at Aveda with Jenna. I am still working on my paralegal degree and am very excited at the prospect of finishing. It becomes easier every day to see the future I am trying to create for Bella and I. Hope everyone is well.

New Camera

So I got home today to find a new Canon EOS Rebel XSi (digital camera) sitting on the table. I, of course, HAD to try it out. These are the results.

Updates:
Bella recently had her six month check up. She is 20 lbs 10 oz and 28 inches long. High 90 percentile in weight and length. Such a TANK. She is crawling too!! How crazy lol. She's saying Mama and baba and she knows what they mean. Her daycare lady has trouble sometimes because she'll run into something or get bummed out and start crying and screaming Mama. Grandpa has taught her how to wave, which is very surprising. The traditional age for waving is 9 months. She is learning so fast, and growing up even more every minute.

Bella's First Cereal Experience

It was so amazing to spend the holidays with our family these past 2 weeks. It couldn't have been a more amazing first Christmas for Isabella. As most of you know, Bella got to have some rice cereal on Saturday. I am so grateful that we could do it with Kelly there (Not that the rest of the family wasn't FULLY appreciated) She was able to give us some good pointers and really made the experience less worrisome. Isabella did amazing and she ate most of the cereal. She's just a natural.
