New Toys and Bathtime

One of the things my grandmother got me for my baby shower was a bouncer. I was looking at Bella the other day and she's been CONSISTENTLY holding her head up lately so I decided to try it out. Bella was definitely a fan. It was so cute.

I figured out that I didn't have any pictures of Bella during bathtime! So I grabbed the CAMERA and these were two of the really cute ones.

Isabella and I were playing peek-a-boo tonight and I just HAD to upload a video. Of course I only got one video before she was more interested in watching Pirates of the Carribean, but that's babies for you.

Bella's first trip to Cheerleading Practice

So today, after a visit with Great Grandma Chicky, Isabella and I decided to go visit Aunt Megan at work. Which meant CHEERLEADING PRACTICE! oh yay.

You can see how excited Bella was at the prospect.

Bella was a bit surprised to see that Shawnee was trying out a new HAIRDO kept giving her the strangest looks. very cute.

This was Bella's reaction to the girl's stunting. She just started totally giggling like crazy.

Tummy Time

So they always say it's REALLY IMPORTANT for babies to have tummy time throughout the day. I agree... BUT it's kind of teaching Bella a new way to show major attitude. Hello future! This is a look at the attitude I'll see in 16 years.

The Cooking Adventure

So... My mother had to work late this evening which meant no dinner. Rather, it normally means no dinner, or my dad and I have to fend for ourselves. Of course my mother decided that since we already had the chicken, MY DAD AND I should cook it so it was ready when she came home. Well yeah, you know me, so this was probably not a good idea. Jamie luckily came over and helped me. So here's the night in photos.
Jamie teaching me how to clean the chicken.
Dad trying to get the chicken arranged in the cooker.
FINALLY after we got the chicken in.
Dad trying to fix the sink because, yeah, I broke it.

Preparations for Baptism

I am SO excited to have finally set up Isabella's baptism day. It's been such a nightmare getting it set up. People couldn't go to the first date I set up so I had to reschedule and it took me 2 weeks to get the Pastor on the phone. He is always so busy because he loves to go out about helping people rather than sitting in his office. Can't really say I blame him. Now I just need to finalize the date with everyone, and get her gown. Her great-aunt Barb already finished her homemade sweater, booties, and bonnet. They are so beautiful, but of course she always does such an amazing job.

Now for an UPDATE on Miss Isabella. She is starting to roll over now, really scary! Although Aunty Megan has informed me that babies are supposed to roll over from stomach to back first. Apparently Miss Bella didn't get that memo because she only rolls from the back to her stomach. She is obsessed with the curtains above the living room couch... Grandma worries about that. Of course I just think this is MORE proof that I've cloned myself lol. Her baby pictures and mine are completely interchangable! Hope I never get them mixed up. So, to sum up, she looks exactly like me, she doesn't follow the rules, and she's a little kooky, yep sounds like another Caitlin in the world. God help us all.
